WOOL UP AGAIN.

RISE AT NAPIER SALES. (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, January 12. The second Napier wool kales were opened this mdrning before the largest attendance of buyers ever seen in Napier, over seventy being present. Bidding was of the keenest, and prices were beyond the expectations of all. the valuations of sellers being exceeded. All classes of wool were in demand, but lower sorts were most sought afterPrices were from a penny to twopence better than at the November sales in Napier, 36’s to 40’s being up an .1 4(Vs to 48’s a permv to twopence. There was not much improvement in superior lots, but any difference was in sellers’ favour. All the lower qualities excited much attention and prices were up l£d to 2d. and hoggets and lambs as high as 2d above the last Napier sales.
