MISS ROSINA BUCKMAN.
The members of the Canterbury Women’s Club gave a reception to Miss Rosina Buckma.n and Mr Maurice D’Oislv and their company in the club rooms this morning. The reception room was charmingly decorated with a profusion of bright-hued flowers, roses, sweet peas, hydrangeas and antirrhinums. Mrs H. Holland, president of the club, who welcomed the guests, wore a smartly tailored costume in nigger-brown face cloth, embroidered in henna and a hat to match in chrysanthemum straw, wreathed uith a brown ostrich feather. Miss Buckman wore a lovely gown of lavender satin with panels and long sleeves of georgette. The gown was richly beaded in silver and wine-colour-ed beads, and she wore transparent hat of black tulle, encircled with a big black feather. She added handsome white fox furs.
