THE SALA'ATION ARAIY. Captain and Airs AY. J. Armstrong, who have been in charge of the local corps of the Salvation Army for tho past eleven months, have received orders to transfer to Lyttelton, and will leave for their new command « n Thursday. Special farewell services are to be held in tlie Army ball on Tuesday, and a farewell social meeting on Tuesday evening. Adjutant and Airs Hanford, now at Invercargill, will succeed Captain Armstrong.
