BODY OF AN INFANT.
THE LYALL BAY DISCOVERY (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. December 19.' Ac an inquest on the body of the child found buried in the sand at Lyal! Bay yesterday. Dr Hector, who made the post mortem examination, stated that, it was the body of .a female child, apparently newly born. It bore no marks of injury, or disease, and in his opinion had been buried for about a fortnight.
