An artist named Nivradomski filed three revolver shots at ancl killed M. Narotowicsz (the newly elected president). who was inspecting an exhibition of pictures. The Cabinet immediately met, and proclaimed martial law throughout the country. It is believed that Nivradomski is mentally unbalanced.
