A FARMER DROWNED. (Per Paf.ss Association.) LEVIN. December b. IA farmer named James Egginton. -ingle man aged sixty-six, was found by his brother drowned at Heatherlea on his return from a sale yesterday. T|h> deceased was subject to fits, and apparently had been to a creek t>o gather watercress for fowls, when he hail a seizure and fell into the water. BOWLER COLLAPSES. (Per Preps Assortatiok. » AUCKLAND. December 6. Mr G. H. Broad, aged seventy, who returned from Sydney by the Makura yesterday, collapsed on the Auckland bowling green, and died yesterday evening He had been treated lor a weak heart.
