CIVIL SITTINGS. TO-DAY’S PROCEEDINGS. The civil sittings of the Supremo Conn, were continued to-day before his Honor the Chief Justice. A FARMERS’ DISPUTE. Walter James Gudsell. farmer. Tinwall. sued Ernest Loss. Tinwald. farmer. for €26 damages on account of trespass by defendant on plaintiff’s land. Plaintiff asked that defendant should be restrained from trespassing or interfering with plaintiff. The damage consisted of cutting wire fences and daroagingposts. Mr J. H. Fpham appeared for plaintiff, and Mr (’. S. Thomas for defendMr Uphatn said that defendant had agreed to pay £lO damages, and had consented to the issue of an injunction against him. His Honor gave judgment accordingly with costs on the lower scale IX BANKRUPTCY. Tn bankruptcy, discharges were granted as follows:—Leslie Henrv " Toiler (Mr T. I). Harfnan for Mr R. Kennedy). Basil George Ward f.Wr H. O. D. Meares), Ernest Edward Gill (Mr F. S. Wilding), Reginald Joshua Harrison (Mr Wilding), Joseph Hamlet (Mr R. Tyneham). Jii the estate of Charles William Seymour (Mr J. H. Upham) a composition was approved, and an order was made annulling the bankruptcy. Mr J. D. Godfrey, fur a creditor, applied to have William J. Carlton ad .indicated a bankrupt. Debtor, who opposed the application, said that bis assets exceeded bis liabilities. His Honor: That doesn’t matte**. Why don’t vou pay vour debts, then ?
