SCHOOL ESSAYS.
THE EXHIBITION AND ITS LESSONS. AN OPEN COMPETITION. Thirteen prizes will be given by the ‘‘Star ” for the best essays submitted by primary and secondary school pupils on “The Exhibition and its Lessons.” Essays must not exceed 500 words. Competitors may deal with the subject as they choose, but the object of the promoters of the Exhibition should not be lost sight of. Prizes of £3, £2, and £l. and ten prizes each of 10s. will be given for the best essays. The competition will close on December 20.
