GERMAN REPARATIONS.
AMBASSADORS’ DEMANDS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z Cable Association. PARIS, December 1. The Foreign Office states that the Ambassadors’ Council demands from Germany before . December 10 reparations for injuries to Allied officers at Stettin, Passau and Ingoldstadt; that the Bavarian Premier must forward an apology; and that Passau and Ingoldstadt must each pay half a million gold marks. Failure to comply will mean the seizure of a million gold marks from the Bavarian revenue. CONFERENCE OF PREMIERS. BERLIN. December 1. A conference of German Premiers has been summoned for Wednesday, to consider the Ambassadors’ demands re garding reparations. It is stated that the Bavarian Premier is likely to resign. The French newspaper, “Le Petit Parisien ” stated last week:—“ It is now certain that Mr Lunar I/aw, M. Poincare, Signor MuEColini and M. Theunis will confer in London to see whether a reparation agreement is possible, or if the Brussels Conference ought to be abandoned.”
