DUNN SHIELD EVENTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY. December 3. The Dunn Shield athletic championship competitions opened yesterday. Carr won his heat and the final of the hundred yards’ sprint, both in ten seconds, equalling the Now South Wales record. Ho also won the quarter-mile in 50 3-osec, a new Dunn Shield record. Other events v-cre contested, but no records were broken.
