DECLARATION VOTING.

HINTS FOR ELECTORS. It is not widely known that electors who are entitled to vote in an electorate but whose names do not appear on the electoral roll, may vote on a declaration at ihe general election and licensing referendum next Thursday. Tlie following persons are qualified to record their votes on a declaration : (1) Any person who is not a registered elector of any other electoral district and whose name lias been wrongfully ruled out on the certified roll used in a polling place. (2) Any person who was registered on the roll as an elector of the district at the last preceding Parliamentary election. This applies not only to a person whose place of residence is still in the district in which it was situated at- the last eviction, but also to one whose residence is now in a different district as a result of the last alteration in the electoral boundaries. (3) Any person who, .having claimed enrolment and has been informed by the Registrar that he has been enrolled, but has not been so enrolled.
