CHRISTCHURCH EAST.

THE LABOUR CANDIDATE.

TO THE ELECTORS, Think over the following before voting on December 7.

Who did the Canterbury workers appoint to represent them before the Parliamentary Committee to protest against the iniquitous Arbitration Amendment Bill? Again, who did they appoint to represent them before the Arbitration Court to state their ease in opposition to the wages reduction? Was it the Reform Candidate for Christchurch East? No. Mas it the Liberal Candidate for Christchurch East? Not on your life. It was the Labour Candidate, Mr H. T. Armstrong. You know that neither tiro Reform nor Liberal candidates have the necessary qualifications to defend vour rights on occasions of that kind, nor would you trust them to do so, then in all seriousness why send them to represent you in Parliament ? ELECTORS! do the common-sense thing and send to represent you in Parliament the Labour candidate, who ha> worked with you and fought for you consistently, right throughout his long and honourable career. Air Armstrong has risen to the highest position both in the Industrial and political organisations of the working people of this country. From his boyhood lie has been at the forefront as an advocate for higher wages, better conditions, and social justice for the working men and women of New Zealand. He has had a wide experience in Municipal Politics in various parts of New Zealand and for some years has played a prominent part in the public life of this city, and is at present a member of the City Council. Harbour Board, Domains Board, Technical College Board of Governors, and other Local Bodies. His work on these bodies speaks for itself. Workers of Christchurch East, consider your own interests, the interests of your children, and the cause of humanity. Support the candidate who hais always supported von and vote for H. T. ARMSTRONG on election day.
