In all the Anglican Ohurcke* throughou t. the diocese to-morrow. Advent Sunrlav. the offerings will be to the Maori Mission. The Maori Mission Fund supplements the stipends of those clergy in the diocese having Maori* in their parishes, helps the work in the Auckland and Waiapu dioceses, and contributes towards the Waipounamu College for Maori Girls Referring to the position of trade and the unemployment difficulty in Great Britain. Sir Francis Bell, who returned by the Tahiti to Wellington yesterday, stated to a reporter, ~ ix here the conditions of trade are improving very greatly. 1 think that is the general opinion. There was certainly a great deal more hoja* expressed among business men and l>v the British Government when i left Fugla ml than was the rase when I arrived there. There is no question that trade is improving and unemployment is less. There is more contentment generally, but there is., of course, a good deal of anxiety.* *
