Lc Matin ” has begun the publica tion of the secret history of the Greek operations in Asia Minor. The Athens correspondent of the paper is transmitting a series of letters, which are all eg ed to be from M. Venizelos, who was in London in 1920, i-o the Greek Foreign Minister. They purport to communicate the tenor of conversations with British Cabinet Ministers. The letters declare that military policy was based on proposals made by Mr Lloyd George and mention the fitter's difficulties in consequence of the Tuvcophilism ot the British Foreign Minister and military circles. The documents do not show in unv wav that the British egged the ((reeks on. On the contrary, the Bri tish counselled them to take careful stock of the position.
