ACTION AGAINST NONUNIONISTS.
(Pin Press Association.) AU C K LAND. N ore mbe r 30. A meeting of seamen * was held today. The nature of the proceedings was not divulged by the officials, but it i? understood that the men decided to allow matters to continue as at present. and to decline to work with nonunion labour. As a result of this decision seventeen of the crew of the "VYaiotapu gave notice, but tlieir places were promptly filled by volunteers, -enabling tlie vessel to sail for Wellington tomorrow afternoon. The men who gave notice reside here. It is thought that the remainder, who arc southern men. may leave at Wellington.
