The Technical Committee of the British Empire Exhibition' passed a resolution that it was of opinion that the growth and manufacture of tobacco within the Empire should be developed and encouraged. The public should he advised to use the same in preference to foreign tobacco. Tn 1920 the United Kingdom imported tobacco to the value of .C 34.919.590.
