Four mon stole an automobile, and fired upon two policemen who aitompted to arrest them, killing one officer. The other policeman shot and killed a bandit, but the remainder escaped. A posse of police started in chase. Mud surrounded, the remaining bandits in a, deserted farmhouse. One bandit attempted to commit., suicide, and injured 1 inne!r erioush .
