The Duke of Devonshire, in a letter to The Times.’’ replying to yesterday’s leader, calls attention to the fact* that special sub-committees were aj>pointed consisting of representatives ot executive members nominated by tho High Commissioners and one representing the colonies, to deal with the whole problem of Imperial supplies and materials. He also states that the conitivo. and adds: ’Tt is hard to imagine how any closer degree of co-operation is attainable, or what further steps the council can take to satisfy the dominions. Their interests are fully protected.”
