The annual communication of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand Freemasons was opened in the Masonic Hall. Gloucester Street, at 10 a.m. to-day. The principal business this morning was t-he election of officers. as follows : Grand Master- His Excellency the Governor-General. Lord Jellicoe. Pro-Grand Master-Hon H. 1,. Michel, M L.C . Hokitika. Grand Chaplains—-Rev A. H. Norris. Canterbury, and Bishop Sadlier, NelGrand Treasurer Mr \Y. F. Scott Oa nterbury. Grand Registrar—Mr T. H. Williams, Canterbury. President Board of General Purposes— Mr A. H. Hobbs. Canterbury. President Board of Benevolence Mr R . VY. S. East wood. Oa nterburv. Senior Grand Deacons—Mr .\ Derbie. Southland; Mr H. N. Gill. Auckland. Junior Grand Deacons—Mr P. M’C’aakill. Dunedin : Mr F. W. Grainger, Taranaki. Grand Directors of Ceremonies— Mr O. FI a veil, Canterbury: Mr J. Rod. Wellington. The.
