CORRESPONDENCE.

SHAM REFORMERS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—Yes. sir, ! agree with your correspondent “Worker” in Saturday’s “ Star ” that the Reformers should revert to their proper label (i. 0.), Tories not in the least ashamed to admit myself a Conservative in some things and a Liberal in others. But what about the “Labour Party?” who and what are they? Why in the name of Heaven don’t thvy also come out in their true colours and not hide behind a “class” distinction? The inference is that all who refuse to label themselves “Labour” must be “capitalists.” How extremely foolish this is. Thousands of Liberals and Conservatives haven’t a red cent, but they have no time for Labour as understood in Parliament. though plenty of time for a working man who is a working man and not a frothy mountebank masquerading as such. Let the “ Labour ” party also be honest and cast its “class ” label to the devil, and come out as honest “ Radicals ” or “Red-fed. ’ Then it would at. least be “politician” against “politician,” instead of class against class.—l am etc.. ANOTHER WORKER .
