LOADING OF COAL.

The Clyde Navigation Trust has carried out successful experiments with ! a new shoot apparatus with which vessels will load coal in half the usual time, while eighty per cent of the coal can ho stowed as fast as it is delivered without th© assistance of trimmers. It is believed that the invention will revolutionise the shipping of coal.
