A mass meeting of seamen decided that the Waikawa men should not return to the vessel on any other terms' than the Australian articles. It was announced *at the meeting that the I stewards and other members of the Moerakrs crew had been arkred to perform seamen’s duties, hut had refused. The Union Company has paid off tha crews of the Koranui and Kokiri.
