How- \ ever, now. owing to several of the second- j ary schools commencing their vacations on j December 15, it seems likely that it will be j over, as "December 23 is impossible for tria' j matches, being the opening day of the test j match, the chances are that it will be de- ; rided to adjourn the competition from Do- j eember 9 and to hold the trial games on !
