Before proceeding with the ordinary business, the captain referred to tire lofCs sustained nv the club through the death of Mr W. M. Joynt. The following resolution was passed. members standing: “That this meeting places on record its appreciation of the. kindly assistance tendered bo the club by its first honorary member for life the late Mr W. M. Joynt.” Further donations were received towards the mortgage extinction fund. The Racing Commit tee reported that full entries would he made at both Redcliffs and Lyttelton regattas. as the most suitable date for the Boldin-? of the Akaroa regatta. Tbe Social Committee reported a credit balance on the oponimr day cntorta.innicms. The clubs efforts had been very successful.
