XVo «en and two women were killed I tinder extraordinary circumstances in j Westphalia. A man who was planning; to commit suicide got possession of a live shell and took it into n field. He sat on it and lighted a fuse. Three other persons who guessed that he was attempting to commit suicide, rushed forward to extinguish the fuse, but the * explosion killed them all.
