Sir George Paish, editor of the “Statist.” addressing the American Manufacturers* Export Association, said:—“The statesmen of the world are apparently doing everything thev can to prevent debtor nations from paying their debts with goods. Britain is the only exception. It is*, therefore of the greatest possible moment for business men and the peoples of all nations to seek an understanding of the disastrous consequences impending, and take proper action.”
