CONDITIONS OF ENROL MEIMT. “It has been decided to establish an Air Force reserve list of the New Zealand reserve of officers,” says a General Order from headquarters, just issued by Brigadier-General Richardson. “ Officers who are posted to the Air Force Reserve may he called upon to perform such refresher training as may from time to time be iuid down by the General Officer Commanding,” ' the Order reads. ‘ That for the present year is a ten day ’ course, including a total of six hours' flying duty. Applications tor enrolment on the Air Force Reserve will be limited to ex- i officers of the Royal Air Force or the air forces of other dominions, and shall he addressed to the Staff Officer for Air Services, General Headquarters, New Zealand Defence Forces, Welling-

ton. and shall contain the following information. tabulated:— (a) Name in full. (b) Date of birth. (c) Married or single. (d) Address. (e) Dates of commission and rank held in R A F., etc. (f) Date of demobilisation from R.A.F., etc. (g) Type of machines flown by day and (or) at night, giving approximate total flying time. (h) Honours and mentioned in dis patches. (i) Whether at present holding a commission in any branch of his Majesty's forces. (j) Whether suffering from any physical disability. (k) Whether agreeable to undergo a ten days’ refresher course per annum. It is not known when the Department intends to carry out the refneaheP course for the reserve of officers, when enrolled, but the Sockburn aerodrome will be used for the purpose.
