REGRUITING CONTINUES.
ENROLMENTS TOTAL 2357 Enrolments of men willing to serve in the Near East in the event of their received at the King Edward Barracks. The total number of enrolments in the No. 10 Regimental District, which extends from Waiau in North Canterbury to Waima-te in South Canterbury, is 2357. If that number 129 are officers, 21 nurses, seven chaplains, and 2197 other ranks. The total compares her of enrolments in the other regi~ mental districts in the Dominion, when calculated on a population basis. About a dozen recruits enrolled this morning but the military authorities have derided that no more names shall be published in the meantime.
