Two householders ji> St Aibans who possess well kept gardens have unwittingly invited the attentions of sneak thieves. On Sunday the residents found that their garden*, had been entered. apparently during the previous nighty and in each case several choice spring blooms were taken. The enthusiastic gardeners had been watching with eager eyes the fjaily progress of their favourites, and rfaturally were rather annoyed to see the blooms stolen just as they were approaching their prime. The perpetrators of petty thefts of this kind would have a Lot to answer for before a jury of gardeners, as the horticulturist is nothing if not an enthusiast on the product of his own. garden.
