A specimen of a species of parrot, resplendent in green, cherry-red and blue, belonging to Tongatahu, Fiji, and K'va Island, has been presented to Ormterbury Museum by Mr J- Hollander. Mi F. A. Stout has presented specimens of the moustached parrakeet, belonging to the* Himalayas. Cochin China, and Malaysia, and of the green-beak parrakeet, belonging to South Australia. A ICow Zealand brown duck, found dead n ear l#ake Ellesmere/ is another fresh Requisition.
