BRIGHTER CRICKET.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—With cricket starting again, I think an effort should be made to hrigten the game up. Last year, when many of the senior players seemed to prefer a certain draw to the mixed
chance of a -win or a loss, the game was as dull as ditch-water. The stonewall merchants did a big business. A firstclass coach is required and it is up to the Association to bring him along. If a scheme were launched there would be plenty of financial support.—l am. etc.. LEG GLIDE.
