AUSTRALIAN WOOL FREIGHTS REQUEST FOR REDUCTION. (Received September 23. 12.5 p.m.) ' MELBOURNE. September 22. A representative deputation from the Graziers’ Association asked Mr Hughes for a reduction of freights on meat and wool for export, explaining that Australian growers wore charged .267 of a penny per pound more for wool than New Zealand growers were charged, which made a difference of £640.000 for the season’s clip.
