Richard Barker and Michael Joseph Allan, two second offenders, were each fined 10s, in default forty-eight hours’ imprisonment. CIVIL CASKS. Horniblow v. A. Kerridge. £ll 6s (sd: Richard William Nun nick v. H. Thompson, £1 19s. In a tenement case. Emma PrieoiHa Christopher v. Thomas Arthur Smith, claim for possession, the Magistrate refused to make an order and plaintiff was non-suited with costs to defendant Ann Maria Syrett (Mr H. K M’Don gall) claimed £34. alleged to be money lent iron! Joseph Heaton (Mr R. H. Livingstone). The Magistrate gave judgment 'Or plaintiff x or the amount claimed with <o-ts.
