A conference of trades union delegates has adopted a resolution that the conference is opposed solidly to any reduction in wages and lengthening of hours and that the conference elect a State Couucil to work in conjunction with the Australian Council of Action and draft definite proposals to plae * before the Council of Action as a polk v of action for the Australian trade-s union movement. Conference then proceeded to draw up a policy for carrying out a campaign it was stated that onC a fighting policy would now avail the workers in the struggle looming ahead.
