Y.M.C.A. Y. SELWYN. Selwyn opened the game by a vigorous attack, and a centre by Richmond gave H. Bel] a chance which M'Donald cleared to Ford, the latter putting in a good run to Selwyn‘s circle. Robb, however, stopped the shot. Y.M.C.A. continued to attack, but Robb kicked out and Horc cleared to •Squire, who ran down to tho Y.M.C.A. goal line and ceutred; but offeido by Richmond spoilt the chauce. Selwyn kept up the pressure, and a hot shot by Squire was well stopped by Drayton. Selwyn kept tho game in their opponents’ circle until a nice centre by Richmond gave W. Bell a shot. Selwyn 1. A scramble ensued iu the Juniors’ oirole for some time, but Hitchens finally cleared. Sheriffs tricked the opposition a.nd nearly scored for Sydenham. Sydenham gained a penalty corner, and G. Mather put in a fast drive, which E. Gumming stopped excellently. Sydenham were awarded another two penalty corners, and from the second Hartigan’s shot just missed. Sydenham kept up the pressure and Butterfield equalised the scores. Sydenham 2, Junior Reps. 2. Sydenham were having all the better of the game, but could not improve their score. B SECTION. Redcliffs 3 v. Wharenui 0. LADIES' MATCH, The only ladies’ match was played between the Junior representatives and the Secondary School representatives. The latter won by 4 goals, scored by Misses E. Anderson (2) and N. Holmes (2) to 1 scored by Miss E. Simpson. Referee, Mr R. A. Cooper. The Canterbury Hockey Association's annual smoke concert and presentation of trophies will be held this year on September 2.
