REMOVAL OF GERMAN EMBARGO.
PREFERENCE FOR AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 3, 10.55 a.m.) SI DNEY. August 3. The Government has circularised pul-lic departments requesting that preference be given to Australian concerns when considering tenders or other transactions. The circular is intended to minimise any detrimental consequences arising from the removal of the German embargo.
