BILLIARDS.

A meeting was held on Thursday evening of the Canterbury Amateur Billiard Association (formerly League), Mr O’Donnell. chairman of the Tramways Club, presiding It was decided to proceed with a competition open to all clubs, and entries to close ou June 14 with Mr H. J. Knight, at the R.S.A. Club. Any club max enter two teams by paying an extra guinea. The games are to be 200 up. and teams will consist of hve players each. The lirst prize will be an enlarged framed photograph of the winning team, to go to the club, and each member of the team will receive a smaller replica as a trophy.
