TO-DAY’S CASES. CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr H. Y. Wuldowson, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. A first offender for drunkenness was fined 10s, in default 24" hours' imprisonment. 7 THEFT OF MONEY. Arthur Ernest Wilson, twenty years of age, pleaded guilty to a charge that on May 2(3 at Christchurch he stole £6 in money, the property of Alexander Stanley. Chief-Detective Cameron said that accused and complainant were employed at the same hotel and occupied the same room. Up till now accused had borne a good character. Accused was convicted and placed on probation for twelve months. He was ordered to refund the amount stolen at once.
