FANCY DRESS DANCE AT AVONSIDE.

Pupils attending Mr W. Fra«er*» school of dancing, numbering about two hundred, had a mast enjoyable time last evening, when they held their first fancy drees dance, tho hall looking very gay with bunting, coloured balloons, etc- Many beautiful dresne-s wore* worn. Mis MeLaughlan and, tho Misses K. and A. Clarke, who judged, having great difficulty in finding the prize winners. Miss Hazel Cooper, Mephistophles, and Mrs Smith. Ace of (Hearts, where their final choice for best dress, and Miss M. Bates, Merry Go Round, for the most original costume.
