On account of sickness he was unable to make any headway with the business, and ne was compelled to file a debtors petition. The meeting decided to allow bankrupt to retain furniture to the value c»f £oo ana tools of trade to the value of £lO. As the value of these goods was above that stipulated in the Act, it was necessary to confirm the resolution at a subsequent meeting. . , ~ . The Acting-Official .Assignee said tbe* stock in the garage had been sold by auction and reaiisea £4 lbs 9d net and the balance of the plant and tools of trade had realised £l7 9s 3d. amounts wotild be paid into the estate. The resolutions were confirmed.
