At the Middlesex tennis tournament Mrs Beamish beat Mrs Mallory in the fourth round, 6-0, 1-6, 6-4, after au exciting match. In the doubles, Anderson and Lycett beat Henty and Hepburn, G-2, 6-2. Werthietn and Mrs Lambert Chambers beat Heryman and Miss Kaye, 6-2, 6-1.. Barclay beat Lowo, 6-1, 6-3. He played his best game since his arrival.
