The death is announced of George Rutland Barrington-Fleet, the actor, at the age of sixty-nine years. f He made his first appearance on the stage in 1874 at the Olympic Theatre under Henry Neville. Later he joined the Gilbert-Sullivan-Carto management, and played in yll their operas except “ The Yeoman of the Guard.” lie leased St James’s Theatre for a time. Ike published “-.Thirty-five Years Ago on the Stage ’’ in 1908, and at one time was a regular contributor to • • Punch.”
