The Baden Powell was due from New Plymouth this •’morning. She is timed to sail for New Plymouth to-uight. The Kaituna arrived last evening from Melbourne, via Auckland and Wellington. She will be dispatched • for Dunedin this evening. The Opihi will not reach Lyttelton from Auckland before Sunday. The vessel loads general cargo on Tuesciay, and leaves for Auckland that evening) The Holmdale arrived 'this morning from Dunedin, via Oamaru and Timaru, to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Hatipara. which left Gisborne on April 5 for London, via Panama, arrived at her destination on May 30. The S.S. and A. liner Matat.ua left Brisbane yesterday for loading at Nelson. Oamaru. Bluff, and Port Chalmers. She is due at Wellington on June 22, and will sail on June- 27 for London, via Monte Video THE DEVON. Sine* Tuesday the work of dischttrg’foC the bunkers of the Devon has continued day and night and it was hoped to have the work completed bv this moiming. The vessel has been surveyed and the floor bunker, which was the only part not examined. will be inspected to-day. She will then take in some* 300 tons of fresh bunkers, and should make her departure for London on Monday.
