FREEZING WORKERS.

MEM LEAVE WORK. (Per Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 31, Trouble lias arisen at the Burnside freezing works, about forty slaughtermen and other workers ceasing work today. The men held a meeting at midday to-day. At the conclusion they gave notice to the management that they would not resume work unless/the full boiius was paid. At the South Otago works, Balclulha, men have been leaving one by one, and there now are only half a dozen left They, too, are aggrieved at the bonis reduction. A report was current in Christchurch yesterday that the men in the various freezing works would cease work when the reduction of bonus takes effect today.
