IN 500 MILE RACE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. NEW YORK, May 31. Jimmy Murphv. winner of the French Grand Prix in 1921, won a 500 mile automobile race at Indianapolis, averaging 94.48 miles an hour, a world’s record for the distance.
