NEW BRICHTON CLUB. The autumn meeting of the New Brighton Trotting Club was concluded to-day in fine weather. The track had dried up a lot and provided excellent going, while the attendance was much larger than on the first day. When half the journey had been covered Rostrevor was just clear of Marvolo and Pieter Timmerman, with Marvolo closing up fast. Half a mile from home Rostrevor, Marvolo, Marietta and Pieter Timmerman were in close order. Marietta took charge on reaching the straight and won by two lengths from Rostrevor. who just lasted long enough to beat Pieter Timmerman by a head, with Marvolo close up. After going seven furlongs Loganwood and Bellfashion went to the front, with Ben Lomond, Thixendale and Hannah M. handy. There was no change till they reached the back stretch, where Sympathy moved up, while Bellfashion and Loganwood retired. Half a mile from home Ben Lomond was just showing out from Thixendale ami Sympatiiy, with Agathos closing up. On reaching the straight Agathos ran to the front, and he won comfortably by two lengths from Onyx, who took second place a furlong from home and beat Sympathy by two lengths, with Thixendale and Star Queen next. Latana, Great Hope and Ratana raced together in the early stages, but at the end of two furlongs Edith Chimes took charge and she led past the stand from Great Hope, with Latona and Ratana following in that order. Going along the back Great Hope joined Edith Chimes, the other pair being close up. Great Hope ran to the front at the home turn, but he was immediately challenged by Latona. Warning Chimes made the early running, with Gladeye, Canuuie, Free Pointer and Imperial Fan handy. Cammie headed Gladeye at the end of three furlongs, and soon after passing the half-mile post she took the lead, with Imperial Fan, Prinzora and Doreen Dillon as her nearest attendants. Cammie led into the straight, and just lasted long enough to beat Prinzora by a neck. Free Pointer was a length away, with Ballin and Doreen Dillon next. Leaving the straight Star Queen took charge, but going down the back Locanda Dillon headed her, and half a mile from home he was showing clear of Lord Lytton, Don Wild and Onyx. A little further on Emperor moved up. Don Wild broke at the entrance to the straight, where Onyx took charge and. stalling off a late challenge from Emperor, she won by a good half 'length.
