ADELAIDE, Alay 20The final session of the Inter-State Fruitgrowers’ Conference passed a resolution that fruitgrowers wouljl be compelled to receive help in the form of a fruit pool if Government control of the sugar industry did not cease and a return were made to former conditions. Failing the assistance of a pool fruitgrowing for canning and jam making must cease. The Queensland delegates opposed the resolution, saying that they had been instructed to fight for the maintenance of white men’s conditions in tho sugar industry.
