Following considerable controversy during tho past two years respecting tho cost of ministerial motor cars, a committee appointed bv the Cabinet has recommended that six cars be dispensed with, but six ministers at fected will bo provided with a special vote by which taxis may bo hired when necessary. 'Trie committee made a. recommendation that the scheme be given six months’ trial.
