EXPERTS AT THE HAGUE.

The Russians have accepted the proposals for a conference of experts at The HagtieI In accepting the conference tlw* Russians stronglv protested against its being held at The Hague, and suggested Riga, Stockholm, Rome or London. They also protested against the exclusion r*f the Germans from the proposed mixed com mi sis on. M. Tchitoherin informed the Confer once that the Russians welcomed the proposed non-aggression pact. Mr Lloyd George said that he* desired the pact to extend even to the Asiatics. M Tchitoherin replied that, so far as Russia was concerned, the pact could be made to apply to all the Russian frontiers. EXCLUSION OF GERMANY. PROFITING BY HER TREATY ! I The Genoa correspondent of the ‘‘Petit Parisian says: Dr Rathenau j (Germany) has abandoned the idea of j protesting against Germany’s exclusion . from The Hague conference. He even ! advised M. Tchitoherin to accept tho , proposals of the Powers. Dr Rathenau 1 considers that Germany's best course j ls to profit by her Russian agreement ! during the four months that the other nations have engaged themselves not to negotiate separately with Russia. Germany may later attempt to conclude an agreement with Russia on the lines of the general agreement which i may possibly be concluded at The Hague. BUSINESS ON A LARGE SCALE.
