MA NA G FAT EN T CO M MITT F. F. The Management Committee of the Canterbury Football Association met m the YMCA on Monday; present—Messrs R. B. Bunt (in the choir). R- English. Walker, Ramsay. Mahan, Cornish. Perryman. Rnupom, Riddells. Deans, Read, Thornley. Smith, Bentley and Marshall. In the absence of Mr Froggatt. Mr Mar shall was voted to act as secretary. The Canterbury Referees' Association wrote requesting the C.F.A.. to order fifty referees' charts. Mr Read moved that the charts be ordered. The motion was car lied. The Y.M.C.A. Club asked for permission to travel to Dunedin on June 3. Mr Deans moved that permission be granted. Mr O'Callaghan wrote pointing out errors in the compilation of the Sports Guide." had been unsuccessful in obtaining donations for the Australian tour guarantee fund. On several of the referees presen; stating that they had not been approached on the matter, it was decided to refer the letter back to the Reterees Association. and also that all clubs be written to asking for contributions to the guarantee fund. Mr Riddells reported that during the match. Rangers v. Lyttelton on Saturday ho had occasion to order off a Eyttriton player for misbehaviour. It was moved that the player be written to pointing out the seriousness of the oficncc. Mr Read moved that the player be suspended Dunne playing Saturday. Both motions were carried.’ Mr Riddells also reported that the match had terminated fifteen minutebefore time owing to the ball being kicked into the sea and there being no other ball a vail a ble. Field, jun . had been omitted from the liet of vice presklents at the annual meet ing. Mr Field was accordingly elected a vice-president. Ashburton, at Sunnyside: Corinthians v Lyttelton, at No. 1. North Park: -Villa a bye. Juniors: Western v. St Albans, at Richmond: Excelsior v. Corinthians, at No. I. Hagiey. Third: Western v. Y.M.C.A. at No. 2. Hagiey; Spreydon v. Y.M.C.A. R. at. Spreydon; St Albans v. Corinthians, at ?%'o. 3. North Park. The above report f the Match Committee was adopted.
